"I am a secondary vocational school teacher in Forestry and Wood Processing School in Karlovac, Croatia and have been teaching for 11 years. My original degree was meteorology Bachelor’s Degree at Faculty of Natural Sciences of Zagreb University. In Croatian educational system I achieved the level of vocational professor mentor. Prior to my current job I have been in National Meteorological Service of Croatia. Now I am teaching my students meteorology from meteorological observations to weather forecasts as well as computer using in meteorology.
I am trainer for GLOBE programme at the national level covering atmosphere observations, data control, archiving and usage with but my narrow speciality is automated meteorological measurements.
Significant part of our student observations and exercises is based on GLOBE programme. We use GLOBE data base as the source and tool for almost all our student projects as well as for climatological and statistical exercises.
I look forward to work as a master teacher in GPM/GLOBE environment with educators and scientists from around the world to learn more and transfer this knowledge to my colleagues and students to better understand the atmosphere, its weather and climate, especially in context of climate change."
